Rev. Grossglass is the secretary/treasurer of the New York District of the Assemblies of God and has filled this office since August 1998. A native of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, Rev. Grossglass graduated from Central Bible College, Springfield, Missouri, in 1964. He was licensed to preach in the Pennsylvania- Delaware District in 1965 and ordained in 1967. Married to Eleanor Drent in 1959, the Grossglass’ have two sons—Daniel (pastor) and Randy (physical therapist). Daniel is married to Cheree and they have four daughters—Nicole, Kristin, Amanda, and Stephanie. Randy lives in Florida and is married to Sheri and they have three children—Ramsey, Nate, and Julianna. |
His pastoral ministries of more than 38 years include Assemblies of God churches in Cloverdale, Missouri; James City, Pitcairn, and Lebanon, Pennsylvania; and most recently Webster, New York, where he served since 1976. While living in Webster he served as chairman on the Greater Rochester Billy Graham Prayer Committee as well as the Executive Committee. He served the Lakeshore section as secretary from 1977-80 and presbyter from 1980-86. In 1986 he was elected to serve as the Executive Presbyter to the Western Region. He served in the position of General Presbytery from 1996-98 until he was elected as District Secretary Treasurer.
Rev. Grossglass has served on the Chi Alpha College Ministry Committee and Emmaus House Prison Ministry Board. He has ministered on the mission field in Mexico, Argentina, Haiti, and Japan. He currently serves on the Board of Regents of Valley Forge Christian College. Rev. Grossglass is a member of the Executive Presbytery, District Presbytery, and is the Executive Presbytery advisor for the Youth and Christian Education Committees.
