Doug DeMent is an individual with a sincere desire to see Youth revived and spiritually renewed for the gospel of Jesus Christ. His energetic and applicable style of communication targets all students, leaders, and churches. Those who hear his message are challenged and inspired toward living a positive Christ-centered lifestyle.

Doug currently serves as the New York District Assemblies of God Youth Ministries Director.  His ministry to the youth culture includes administration and oversight of the annual PK/MK retreat, Youth Convention, Teen and Kids Summer camp and Youth Leaders Renewal.  His extensive travel throughout the Northeast has accredited him numerous opportunities to minister in various youth rallies, retreats, Christian education and teaching seminars, Speed-The-Light-rallies, revival meetings, and high school graduation services. These continuous life-changing investments have motivated students, leaders, and teachers alike to impact the lives of others in their world and raise the standard for holy living.

Doug was raised in the state of Nebraska and attended Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri where he earned his degree in Biblical Studies.  Upon graduation, he married his wife Cindy, and they have two children, one married daughter, Kara and Keith – currently attending Southeastern in Florida.  In 1982 he served as Youth Pastor at North Park Assembly of God in Holdredge, Nebraska.  He then moved to Long Island, New York, where he became Associate Pastor of Shirley Assembly of God.  In 1992 he and his family moved to pastor Central Assembly of God in Horseheads, New York.  In 1996 he was elected District Youth Ministries and Christian Education Director of the New York District Assemblies of God.  He presently serves as the District Youth Ministries and Chi Alpha Director.
