The mission of Light for the Lost is "to empower men to provide God's Word to every person on the planet."

LFTL YEAR END GIVING REMINDER!

The LFTL team is praying that each district church pledge $1000.00 to help us reach our goal of $325,000.00 for this year and share the Gospel thru LFTL.  For as little as a cup of coffee a day ($3.00 x 365 = $1095.00) we can share the Gospel with the lost.

We are quickly approaching the end of 2011.  With only two months remaining in this calendar year, now is a great time to fulfill your LFTL commitments.

All credit card donations must be received in our national office by December 31st and all must be postmarked by December 31st, 2011.

Please send these donations to the following address:

> LFTL provides diversified resources for our missionaries who are in the field of battle spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. > LFTL is initiated by men's ministry, administrated by National Men's Ministry, but fulfilled through the church as a whole.
> LFTL is a volunteer, charitable ministry of the AG Men's Ministry, operated under the supervision of the General Council of the Assemblies of God.

You can be a part of the Light for the Lost team in a number of ways:
1.  Celebrating National Light for the Lost Day
2.  Having a Faith Promise event at your church
3.  Enroll in the Councilmen program, http://lftl.ag.org/councilmen/
4.  Join with other churches in your section to host an event.
Make it part of your missions convention-the possiblities are endless.

Meet our Director of Men's Ministries & Light for the Lost.....

Tom Sember lives in Buffalo New York and is a 20 year veteran of the Buffalo Fire Dept.  He has also worked as a house builder and sole proprietor in the handyman service industry.

Tom and his wonderful wife Carolyn have been married for over 25 years and have been blessed with three daughters Jessica, Katherine and Rebecca. They spent time ministering in the Western New York area where Tom served as an administrator, deacon, and elder while Carolyn served as a Girls Ministry leader as well as the Western section Girls Ministry representative. Tom has served as pastor of one of the churches in the Western section.

Tom has a love and passion for ministry to men. His heart is to see men reach their full potential in Christ by serving their local pastor and churches, but believes that it starts with a relationship with Jesus and then man to man.  He has been working and continues to work in the Men’s Ministries Department in the Western section of the District.  He is committed to serving, equipping, and empowering the men to advance the kingdom of God.

Please feel free to call or email Tom with any thoughts or ideas concerning reaching, teaching and releasing men to be all that Christ has called us to be at Tom@sember.net or (716) 983-9565.

“Praise the Lord! How blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who greatly delights in His commandments.” Psalm 112:1

The Councilman program will once again play a large role in raising funds for Light For The Lost.  If you were a councilman in the past, please consider recommitting to help us provide evangelical materials for our missionaries and mission programs.
